Mrs. Balmelli is a U.S. Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience in the fields of investment banking and financial auditing.

Mrs. Balmelli is the CEO, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Sana Elias Group, The Sana Elias Group (SEG) an independent firm focused on providing advisory services with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa. 

Prior to co-founding the Sana Elias Group she was CFO for Deutsche Bank Global Banking (Corporate Finance and Trade Finance) in Tokyo, Japan. She also worked in the investment banking division at Morgan Stanley in New York.

At PricewaterhouseCoopers, she managed audit teams specializing in the financial services sector. Mrs. Balmelli earned a B.S. degree in accounting from Pace University.
